Okay, welcome back in this video, we're going to talk about actually contacting the blog owners and what to say. So really, when it comes to contacting blog owners, you want to ask them qualifying questions like, do you run advertisements to your list? Okay, which are basically what solo ads are, you know, what are your rates? Can I run a test ad, very professional, you know, this is, if this is somebody who has a big list, they've, they've heard these questions before, so it's not going to be like a turn off to them. They know that when they have a big list that there's a lot of marketers out there that want to promote. For a guy, we've got a nice little script here that we're going to put underneath this video that you can use verbatim, just fill in your name.
And if you want to personalize it a little bit, it's always a good idea to do that. But basically, what you're going to do is you're just going to send an email. They're just going to find their contact information. I'm usually on the blog. They'll have some kind of way for you to follow up with them to, you know, send an email, or just send a, you know, usually maybe it's an info at at their website name.com or something like that. But basically, you're just going to say hello, and then your name.
But basically, you're just going to say hello, and then their name, and then your name. I'm an advertiser and just came across your blog through Google, pay your blog is really cool. So this is a chance right here for you to really personalize it, depending on what their blogs about. Okay, and then you could say, I was wondering if you run solo advertisements to your email list, okay. And you're willing and then also note here that you're willing to negotiate on price. Okay, so so sometimes people will want you to pay them outright to promote to their email list.
Sometimes they'll want to cut a deal based on percentage of how much sales you get. Okay, so they may want an affiliate fee maybe they'll, they'll promote to their list you can promote but they want you to promote to their list. With with your with their affiliate ID in your product. So if you don't have your own product and that probably won't work. But if you do have your own product, that's a great way to let them be an affiliate and you promote to their list and they make a cut and just say you know, thanks for your time, your name again, you can put your full name on if you're working for your company, you can put your company name, your email address, make sure they have a way to get back in touch with you. But it's pretty simple.
Okay, you're just going to contact them. You're not going to talk about price yet and this when they actually start responding to you then you can get more into the basics or more into the description. You can get more into the details of what you want to pay and what you can expect
