Okay, so then once you've heard back from the blogger, then you want to start negotiating the deal. Okay, so some qualifying questions you can ask them once they respond. are what do you charge to place an ad in one of your emails to your list? And then Would it be okay if I run a test ads, so a test ads important? Because it lets you run the ad just to see the response rate. Okay, so they may say, yeah, I'll send it to 10% of my list, and we'll see how it does.
Okay, so that's a really great way for you to see if it's going to be worth your time to run an ad to all their people. This way, you know how much you can pay and still be profitable, obviously. And they can try to find a win win price that both of you and the website owner are going to be happy with. Okay, and just remember that price is negotiable. And what is most important is return on investment. It's not how much you pay.
It's how much you get back on top of what you pay, okay? It's gonna be the same for the person with the list too. Okay, they're gonna want to make some money is Well, okay, so they're exposing you to their list. They know that if they let you promote to their list and you're going to send them to an opt in page, and they're going to be swapping leads with you, okay, so this isn't something that people just want to give away, especially if they've spent a lot of time building a list. So don't be surprised if you meet some tough, some tough negotiators out there. And I'm sure you would be the same way.
