In the last video, we saw how my site was presented as a featured snippet in position zero for Google search, a very good position to be in. Google took this from my web page, because it was considered to be a good answer. But also because it was submitted as schema markup code, which is easier for the Google search bots to decipher. schema markup code has many categories to choose from, but I tend to use these person article, item list, breadcrumbs, blog, posting, video and audio I'll go through each one and show how to add information into each field correctly. Although there are tools that help, schema markup provides a way of identifying ourselves, and linking out to our social media profiles. In this way, we tend to increase the authority of the website, and also the trust factor.
