Digital Data Ethics is by far the fastest-growing area of privacy, data protection, and security around the globe.
Privacy, trust, and security are closely intertwined, as are law and ethics. Privacy preservation and security provisions rely on trust-based ethics (e.g. one will not feel secure unless one trusts the security provider). Violation of privacy constitutes a risk, thus, a threat to security. Ethics can provide context to the law (e.g., the law allows trading for the purpose of making a profit, but ethics provides input into ensuring trade is conducted fairly). Privacy breaches, privacy fines, and wrongful (unethical) use of privacy laws disturb trust and run the risk of diluting or losing security; it is a show of disrespect to the law and a violation of ethical principles.
In this training, an implementation plan is discussed to assist many privacy, data protection, security, and risk professionals to provide practical guidelines on how to deal with the increasing influence of ethics and ethics accountability requirements.
No data protection professional in modern times can do without this basic knowledge related to digital data ethics. This training includes an Official Registered Digital Data Ethics officer distinction acknowledged by the Global Association of Data Protection Professionals (GADPPRO) and participants will be registered in the EU Register of Data Protection Professionals (RDPP).
