About the Class
This 2-hour course will fulfill the classroom portion of training as required by the State of Maryland for those wanting to apply for their Handgun Qualification License in order to purchase a handgun. This class is open to anyone 21 years of age or older and will provide a comprehensive overview of the safe and proper handling of handguns as well as basic shooting fundamentals. Students will need to complete the live-fire requirement of the class at a range of their choosing. Live fire component can be completed at Cross Hairs Indoor Shooting Range, 322 Ft. Ashby Road, Ft. Ashby, WV, for an additional $15 fee.

Requirements
- Students must be 18 years of age or older.
- No previous firearms knowledge or experience is necessary.
