You’ve all heard,
Think positive,
It could be worse,
What doesn’t kill you will make you stronger.
God won’t give you anything you can’t handle.
When life throws you lemons, make lemonade.
Lemonade needs sugar. Lemonade is sweeter with cranberry juice. Sweeten life's "lemons" with life's "cranberries."
This is not really a gratitude journal. This is about appreciating the sweet parts of life that you experience every day but may not take the energy to notice. I refer to these sweet things as life’s cranberries, which can help to counteract life’s lemons. Your lemons will still be there, but they will be more manageable after refocusing your energy.
Start each month by writing out goals. Make them task-oriented and positive. On the daily pages, write your journal entry. What’s going on? It’s ok to acknowledge any lemons coming your way. Write about them. Come back later in the day, and write again. Try to list the day’s cranberries. Don’t be afraid to open your heart to really look for them, Train yourself to recognize and accept life’s cranberries in spite of life’s lemons. Each day, add a new calendar page from the template. Great for use with Goodnotes, Notability, or other PDF writers.
