• This course is a great induction course in relation to health and safety as it covers a wide range of topics in some detail. Most of the examples relate to the construction industry so this course is perfect for people starting out working on a site for the first time.

Further Progression.

Other health and Safety courses that cover specific aspects of the candidate's role for example if they are likely to be required to work above the ground then Working at Height would be a useful follow-up. If they are going to be handling chemicals then the more detailed COSHH course would cover this more thoroughly, and if they are going to be working alone at any point then the Introduction to Personal Safety for Lone Workers course would be a great next step.
