There are many avenues to learning. Practical knowledge is a precious one because it comes battle-tested and pure. Learning from someone who does it every day, and has the teaching gene, is the best it gets. That teaching gene allows for acceptance and patience. An understanding that sometimes concepts need time to germinate. Another of our axioms is that "when the student is ready, the teacher will appear." Due to the elevated nature of craft building we engage in here at The Academy of Creative Skills, it may not be for the casual mind, or dilettante. But if a student is serious about advancing in their craft, about going to the next level, then we are the rich and fertile environment for that growth to begin.
