My classes are designed to MENTOR newer and developing college/university faculty - especially those in tenure track positions - to navigate the expectations of higher education. These include teaching classes and all aspects of scholarly academic writing. "Publish or Perish" is real in most institutions. So this school helps Academics to understand the role of scholarship in their work life and to mentor faculty to gain the skills needed to be successful. In other words, to become an effective, confident instructor and scholar, and to be able to poise oneself for successful peer reviews, tenure, and promotions.
