Doron Benbenisty is the owner and founder of CRI – Counter Terrorism Training School, Inc. Doron’s extensive background in Counter Terrorism began with his service in the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF). After his initial service in the IDF, Doron entered the Israeli Special Forces and into the Mistaravim Unit (a division of the Special Forces that infiltrates enemy territories in order to gather intelligence and eliminate security risks). There he became a Counter Terrorism Instructor as well. While in the Special Forces, Doron successfully completed the task of creating and implementing an entirely new type of program: Israel’s first Counter Suicide Bomber Program. This program was adopted by all branches of the IDF, has greatly reduced fatalities, and is still in use today. Doron arrived in the United States in 2000 and has since used his expertise in Counter Terrorism, Transportation security (Public, private, ground, aviation, and locomotive), self-defense, executive protection and personal security to create CRI and its vocational programs. He has authored numerous articles in various publications as well as CRI’s tactical. As a counter terrorism expert, Doron has provided interviews to a multitude of media outlets such as NPR, CBS, FOX, ABC, Las Vegas Review Journal, New Orleans Times Picayune as well as international media outlets . Doron also created eleven segments for G4TV, displaying his expertise in personal protection, counter terrorism and weapons safety. Doron also has over 20 years of experience in public speaking for various groups that include: National Pawnbrokers Association, College of Southern Nevada, Carmela Security Center in Paraguay, SWAT Roundup,Center for Strategic Analysis, ASIS ,the Chamber of Commerce and others.Doron also created the krav Haganah [combat defense] martial art system, the author the home invasion survival and how to defeat a bully books, "help me be safe" online training portal and much more.
