We are two professional educators who have been through a plethora of careers, jobs, disciplines, and LIFE: Josh Mattison & Emma Paunil. Throughout our professional and personal adventures, we have discovered some critical focuses of education that seem to be missing for our youth and young adults. Our goal is to help creatively "fill in the gaps" with our Enrichment Academy, so that our student's minds will stay – not only curious to the world around them – but interactive, proactive members of society. In addition to leadership, professional, and financial topics, mental & emotional well-being is a critical focus of our academy as well. A little secret of ours: we both come from a background of – not only education & professionalism – but also entertainment & performance! Demystifying "money" & finances Normalizing concepts in mental health & emotional intelligence Career exploration – placing emphasis on experiencing JOY through a career Artistic play for the mind, body, & spirit Financial literacy for teens Professional Development Workshops Entrepreneurship and MORE <h1 class="font_7" style="text-align: center;">MORE ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS</h1> Emma Paunil Emma is a professional educator, author, musician, and creative of over 20 years, and has taught at various venues and locations, including Epupa Primary School (Namibia, Africa), Film Actor Workshops, Imago Dei Middle School, Reid Park Zoo, Project SOAR for underprivileged, and even the University of Arizona School of Higher Education. She has enjoyed teaching concepts ranging from professional development, careers, leadership and mentorship, improvisation, as well as conservation biology & pre-veterinary medicine. Particularly, her teaching passion lies within critical concepts of "Emotional Intelligence,” and mental health, using art education, improvisation, and her music to channel this passion. Josh Mattison Josh has lived a life as a self-employed investor & entrepreneur for over 20 years. Since his score of experience as a residential real-estate business owner & broker, Josh has taken a passion to educating our youth on concepts ranging from the monetary system, what a true "investment" means, as well as encouraging our youth to seek enjoyable business as a career. He feels that if our youth were given the chance to truly learn & understand financial education, they would make better decisions with debt & spending. In this monetary world we live in, Josh's passion is to ensure that our students at the academy have the chance to get out of the wage slave hamster wheel of debt, and to become the masters of money, financial freedom, and their lives.
