I am a Professional Member and Regional Director for the Association of Ayurvedic Practitioners of North America (AAPNA) and also a member of the American Herbalist Guild. I taught for 10 years at The Ayurvedic Institute and subsequently taught another ten at the University of New Mexico where I develeoped the Clinical Herbalism Program and the Ayurveda Program.
I have been involved in complementary and alternative medicine since 1997 when I worked in an Integrative Clinic in Hong Hong in the capacity of resident Aromatherapist and Lymph Drainage Specialist servicing mostly breast cancer survivors. I completed my Ayurvedic studies at The Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM and continued Ayurvedic Studies in Pune, India. I have been in private practice while teaching and now mainly teach, mentor 'green' practitioners and aid private labels in their natural products line development.
My teaching style is dynamic and stimulating, knowing how to make accurate information come alive and be applicable.
