Dr. Kelli has been taking care of patients with neck and back pain for over 40 years. Her mission to to explain to people why they have pain and more importantly to show what they can do for themselves to feel happy and pain free. She knows we don’t age well overall, largely because people are told their problem is due to just getting old and nothing can be done. That is absolutely wrong! She understands the importance of effective and transparent communication and to understand what the patient may believe or fear around their possible recovery. Dr. Kelli feels it as been a blessing she has got to experience most of the pain her patients describe. Because she believes inthe bodies ability to recover, she has collected a broad swath of information and methods affecting multiple systems that should be considered when treating anyone who is suffering from pain. She is excited to share a self-help class describing 10 step program for those suffering chronic neck pain and a separate program for those dealing with chronic back pain. Each of these program included six 30 minute videos. Each session is to be watched once a week so the student can practice the actions described in that class. You will find Dr. Kelli to effectively describe clinical scenarios in a way that the any person should be able to understand. People say these programs allow them to make sense as to why they have pain, but more importantly what they can do to really make their own difference. Besides the work to make your body work better, Dr. Kelli offers a great civility workshop to teach us to understand the mindsets of others, instead of trying to change them!
