I fell in love with the piano when I was just a child. It was always a special secret friend, and it took me to all these magical places. Actually it still does! I have been blessed to have spent my entire professional life as a performer, playing concerts all over the world, giving lectures and master classes, and sharing my passion for the music I love with many.
I have seen first-hand how music can make a difference in a life, how it can bring people to tears and unlock the deepest part of their souls. And it is not just an exclusive art-form reserved for the educated listener. All that is needed to receive its gifts are a set of ears and an open heart to experience its beauty and feel its passion. In 2014 Three Oranges Recordings (http://threeorangesrecordings.com) was launched to further classical music and make it more accessible. In 2017 the Three Oranges Foundation was established with the primary goal of making classical music relevant to everyman:  taking it into the community, bringing it into the schools, and making it part of the daily lives of the average person.
It has been a blessing to share the music that I love with a world-wide audience through a series of informal master classes. “Behind the Notes” provides an excellent introduction to listening and discovering the joys of music. As an artist, I feel the responsibility to get closer to the spirit of these composers— to share their stories and to bring their music to life so that their music can touch souls and inspire many.
