I am the owner and lead instructor at The Art of Cheese, a cheesemaking school located on my working dairy goat farm in Colorado. I have been making homemade cheese and teaching others the craft for over ten years and I truly love helping people learn this exciting and delicious culinary skill. Nothing makes me happier than seeing the joy cheesemaking brings to my students from all around the world. Prior to the pandemic, most of our classes were taught in-person at our farm-based classroom or at other offsite locations. When the pandemic forced us to take a long break from in-person classes, my instructors and I got busy turning our classes into virtual offerings. We now teach over 45 different classes on all kinds of cheese using all kinds of milk (goat, cow, sheep - much that can be sourced at your local grocery store)! Since my goats were the original inspiration for my own personal cheesemaking, and since everyone loves to see baby goats, all of my classes include a brief virtual tour of the farm and visit with the goats!
