Dr. D.L. Hawkins Ph.D. in Biostatistics University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Dr. Hawkins retired in 2016 after teaching both undergraduate and graduate students for 32 years at the University of Texas at Arlington. As an Associate Professor, he frequently consulted with students from many fields outside the Mathematics department, including: Biomedical Engineering, Biology, Geology, Psychology, Business, and Nursing. These consultations occurred when students found themselves with both a data set related to their field and in need of statistical help to properly complete their work.
