Hi, congratulations. I assume if you're watching this, you have completed the lectures for part one begin the journey, I hope that you've been able to gain some insights into who you are and who you want to become as a traveler. Besides talking about the mindset in the psychology of travel, we've gone over quite a bit of information. Just to recap, we've gone over how to set goals and plan for travel, budgeting and saving for travel, getting the best airfare, learning all of those Google flights, tricks of the trade, learning about your passport, everything you need to know and even more about your travel personality. More than that, I hope that you've been able to see that there's an art to this travel thing, and there is an art to taking the plunge. That's the next step.
And so part of being a traveler hopefully is that it expands your worldview, and helps you to see yourself as interconnected and even interdependent with people all over the world. World, that's part of taking the plunge. So I have one last challenge for you. And that is to help you see how hopefully travel has and will continue to help you to live a purposeful life. That's right, I see this as bigger than just travel. Of course, purposeful travel is really important.
It's travel where you are able to seek and gain some meaning beyond just the trip that you've taken. And so in my estimation, that means your whole life actually becomes richer and broader. And hopefully you have broaden your networks, the more that you travel. So this last exercise that's attached to this lecture is for you to actually take some time to reflect on how travel has impacted your life. So I want you to think about three ways that travel has had a positive impact or even changed, you changed your life. And that could mean travel that you've already taken.
If you're an experienced traveler, how has travel positively impacted you, or it could mean any exposure that you've had to travel. So just by taking these courses and listening to the lectures, you have been exposed to researching travel, researching destinations, planning for travel, just broadening your mind about what you need to do to travel. So think about even that exposure and how it may have positively impacted you over this time that you've taken the course. So that's your last exercise for Part one is really just taking stock up in understanding, gaining insight into how travel hopefully has positively impacted you. So that's all for now. I thank you for allowing me to be on this part of your journey.
I hope that you continue. And I hope that thinking about that earlier quote in lecture to that you're able to travel, not just to go somewhere but to Cross oceans and take a journey that will allow you to leave the shore this familiar and seek and explore unfamiliar oceans and shores. So I'll see you next time and again Congratulations on completing this
