Hey guys, and welcome back to the low poly background class. So you can see here we've got our plane which has been manipulated, we're going to click Create, create new material, and then double click on the material down here, which is a sphere. And you've got all these options. So we're going to take away reflectance, we're going to go into color, click on the arrow at texture and go to gradients. From there, we're going to double click on the gradient here. And then we can choose what color we want our our background to be.
So you can choose any sort of color you want. With this one, I'm just going to choose the bright reddish color. So starts off maybe over here, maybe pink, then or the next one, the next color A kid and I'll decide maybe something blue. And it can be any color you want. Just a purple color. something quite abstract.
And once you have the craving that you want, all you have to do is click, hold it down and drag it onto the plane, like so. So that's all it takes to add color or as a material to your to your plane or your object. In the next lesson, we're going to go through how to create and manipulate 3d objects. See you guys there.
