Communication is the conduit for human connection, personal expansion, and professional success.
Without this fine-tuned skill, we struggle to connect, direct, accept, understand and follow.
The way we communicate can:
What comes as a surprise to many, is the power of body language and how much of communication is accounted for by body language. In fact, body language accounts for more than half of how we communicate, and words themselves account for only a fraction of that.
More importantly, most people don’t take into consideration the body language of those they’re engaging with, meaning they aren’t picking up on the huge pieces of important information being imparted.
What’s great about this is that many people express their thoughts and emotions through their body language, which means that if you are trained and focused on people’s non-verbal cues, you have a much greater opportunity to understand what is truly going on beneath the surface and gives you a clearer picture of what you need to do next.
Did you know human beings lie on average 200 times a day? Apart from the startling fact of this statistic, what it does tell us is that people are very good at saying what they don’t really mean. What most people don’t do very well is conceal their feelings or lie with their body language since our body language is more of an unconscious response. Observing people’s body language gives a more accurate gauge of how they’re feeling, what they are thinking and what their intentions are.
In the Strategic Body Language course, you will learn how to identify different body language positions, how to interpret the cues more accurately, how to better connect with people and how to adjust your behavior according to what you’re seeing and what your desired outcome is.
