Hello, welcome to voice master International. I'm Steve Hudson. You might wonder how with all your experience, you would benefit by learning the Hudson voice technique. Think of it like this. Anyone can hit notes on a piano and entertain friends at a party or play weekend golf. But if you want to play professionally, you would need to learn a technique.

We start speaking at about the age of two by mimicking our parents. From then on, we develop a unique speech pattern. We learn words or language, and accent, speed, and tone. These are influenced by parents, friends and school. It's verbal DNA. We were taught how to read at school.

But the problem was that we were only taught to string words together. This means that we speak by instinct, which the Oxford Dictionary describes as unlearned. In other words, we're guessing it may be an educated guess, but a guess nonetheless. On the other hand, the Oxford Dictionary describes technique as follows a set of specific rules, which determine the degree of excellence, the degree of skill, or command or fundamentals, exhibited in any performance. This course will change your speech pattern from instinct to technique. During the course we ask you to read a selection of scripts.

You will also be reading a chocolate commercial Part of a children's story. Now this may seem strange, but there is a reason for this. These scripts contain all the elements of the Hudson voice technique, which will enable you to gain control over your voice and the way you deliver words that cannot be achieved by reading corporate scripts alone.
