This class explains cloud anatomy, different techniques, and effects for watercolor clouds, exploring them in an intentional sketchbook practice. The class will not only help you get better in watercolor clouds but also aid in finding your own style and artistic voice. It will be a personalized journey and we will use repetition, reflection, and experimentation as our means to progress.

You will experiment with six different skies in your sketchbook to find out which techniques and styles work best for yourself and for each reference picture. You will also do two attempts at painting a self-chosen sky image, one before and one after your sketchbook experiments.
