Please don't think that being able to handle uncertainty is something that you're born with. Think of it more like a muscle that you need to stretch and grow. Once you start working that muscle, uncomfortable situations become more bearable. Once you start feeling some pains, you know you're growing, you're working your way up to the next weight class. If you pull the proverbial muscle, you know you've gone too far and need to take the weights down a class. The one thing I know for sure is that everyone has fear.
