Well hello and welcome back future teachers to the course how to nail the teacher interview. This is Sam Ryan gallon. You know, now that we've come to the end of the course, I just want to say thank you, thank you for hanging in there with me. And I really hope that these these lessons have been helpful. And I also hope that you will not only use this list to impress the interview panel, but that you will also incorporate these strategies and practices into your teaching philosophy. This is important, you know, it's it's one thing to be able to have the right answers in interview, but it's better to be able to actually be that teacher, you know, be that teacher who administrators would hire again, after a couple years of teaching, when that'd be awesome.
Our kids need qualified caring teachers more than ever and our kids need you. You know, when you do get the job. Please remember the concept in this book. Please remember to keep building positive relationships with students. Remember To make your lesson plan, the most creative in the school, and remember to never stop learning, keep making yourself valuable. You never want the administration to regret hiring you, right?
You want to earn that position. When I was teaching, I would ask myself, if it wasn't for the union, would I still have a job? You know, we have those teachers, and I'm sorry to say, we have those teachers that the only reason that they're still teaching is because they have the union to protect them. Don't be like that. Don't be that teacher that needs a union to keep their job, right. Being a teacher is something to be proud of you are helping to educate the leaders of the future.
You know, you won't make a fortune in this profession. But you will make a valuable difference in the lives of many, many students. And I'm confident that if you remember the lesson you learned in this course, while you're sitting in the hot seat in the interview, you will have the advantage over those 90% of the other candidates applying for the job. If you continue need to remember these lessons you've learned in this course after you get the job, you will be that amazing teacher that kids love. Parents admire and school administrators show off, you know. So once again, thank you for taking the course.
My goal is to continue to add more resources and to this course so once you once you've taken the course you have access to any additional elements that I add to the course and I want to do that I want to be able to over deliver in this course because I want you to be not only successful in the interview, but to be successful as a teacher, so stay tuned and, and I'd like to ask you a favor. When you do get that job when you do land, that teaching job that will change your life forever. I'd like to know about it. Connect with me, send me an email, let me know that you got the job. I want to celebrate with you. I really do.
