Here are some of the most important building blocks for Chinese metaphysics:

• Yin and yang
• Five elements
• Heavenly stems
• Earthly branches

These concepts are applicable to various schools of Chinese metaphysics, such as Ba Zi (Four Pillars of Destiny), yijing, Fengshui, time dunjia.

In this foundation course, we will provide students with a solid grounding in the abovementioned concepts, applied to the study of Ba Zi. By the way end, of course, one would be able to apply the various layers to start reading Ba Zi charts.
