Hello, welcome to this new section calculating metrics for mutual fund portfolio. In the previous section, we saw how to create a diversified mutual fund portfolio. We use mutual funds from different types of mutual funds like equity funds, debt funds, balanced funds, contra funds, etc. And then we also saw how we can measure whether the portfolio is really diversified or not. Now, let us see the portfolio that we have created is good enough or not, by you calculating some metrics against which we can measure the mutual fund portfolio. The metrics that we will calculate will include expected returns standard deviation, beta Sharpe ratio and tenor ratio.
Now, in case you're not aware of what these metrics mean, you must refer to the course mastering mutual fund investment part two of three. The metrics for individual mutual funds is discussed in this course and it will be helpful in understanding what we are discussing in this particular section, so without any more delay, let us get down to discussing each of the metrics one by one. Thank you for listening. See you in the next lecture.
