This video is going to show you how to use Google Forms. There are two ways that you can get to Google Forms. If you're in your drive, you can hit the New button. And it doesn't come up in the first grouping. But if you hit more, it's the first one here. And then you can go to Google Forms.

The other way is if you go to a blank Google page, and you go to these nine dots at the top, sometimes it's called a waffle. It's not usually in that first bunch there. But if you click More, it will be there. If you don't see it in there, that's because you haven't gone to it. So you can always just go to a Google page and type in Google Forms, and it'll bring you there as well. So when you go to Google Forms this way, the difference between this and through drive is that you get some templates that come up.

So you can use these templates. You can make a copy for yourself and then change them and adapt them. So there may be something useful in here already that's made for you. But today, we're going to do a blank form so we can see how to use the program. So the first thing we want to do is title our form. So I'm going to call this one practice.

And once you title your form here, it doesn't automatically translate here unless you put your cursor and just click in there. Okay, then it changes the name. If you don't, it's going to save it in your drive with an untitled form. And you can have more than one form quote called untitled, even though they're different documents. So we want to put the name up here as well. Next thing we're going to do is come over to this color palette.

And you can change the background. When you start a forum. It always defaults to that purple. So you can go here and change the color. Or you can go to this image icon. And there are some preset images in here that Google has put in.

Some of them are subject specific, so you could use them if they're for a class, click on this one, and then you have to hit select So the colors are associated with the background so you can't change anything. So if you don't like the colors and you need to pick a different background the next video is going to talk about some settings in Google Forms and get you started.
