About the Class

Being able to predict the motion of an aircraft is at the heart of aircraft design. In this course, you'll learn to predict the natural response of the aircraft to longitudinal and lateral disturbances. The aircraft's motion depends on the aerodynamic design, as well as the mass properties of the aircraft. The dynamic motion and response of the aircraft directly impact the controllability of the aircraft by a pilot or autopilot.
