Upon completion of this 1-day event, each delegate should be able to:
1. Understand the basic concept and development of PLC, its definition, and terminologies
2. Identify the components in a PLC system, including hardware and software
3. Understand the advantages of PLC over relay logic
4. Identify basic PLC input and output systems
5. Identify and list basic PLC programming languages
6. To write simple ladder logic programs using timers, counters, latch output, and other functions.
7. Know how to download programs and set the PLC online.
8. Carry out practical exercises with simulation software.
