This non-fiction guided reading educational resource pack includes the informational text “Inner and Outer Faces” guided reading levels for informational text: Levels A - Z (criteria listed on Pages 8-26: I.C. Fountas and G.S. Pinnell, The continuum of Literacy Learning, Janice Kite, ACS Literacy). Modified for students with learning challenges: with visual, color coding, tactile and audio prompts. Students with learning disabilities require the use of handouts and visual aids, word processors with spell-checker, and/or voice output to provide auditory feedback. Concise oral instructions should be presented in more than one way.
Based on the depth of knowledge four levels including defining, making observations, citing evidence, then analyzing and discussing. Fill in the blanks test, ESSA -well-rounded concept: reading, writing, and literature. Teachers can use completed worksheets or videos of student reactions as proof of completion. Red print relates to notes for the teacher, parent, or self-instruction. Certificate of achievement is available for students that finish the resource pack satisfactorily, with an auditory feature.
