Description:
During this section, we will navigate the Nervous System (chapter 4, pg 109) in a self-paced learning style online. The learning objectives are; to describe the basic organization of the nervous system; describe the anatomy of the neuron and neuralgia; describe the physiology of the neuron and neuralgia; explain the relationship between neurochemical activity and behavior, including pain behavior; identify the structures and functions of the brain; identify the structures and functions of the spinal cord; list drugs that affect the central nervous system; describe common pathological conditions of the central nervous system and the related indications/contraindications for massage.
At the end of this section, you will be asked to complete a section quiz.
