Let's start with a quick overview of the ultrix interface going through the different menus, buttons and window panes. Starting with the toolbar at the top, we have our typical file management tools like creating, opening and saving a workflow. The workflow is our ultrix file that contains all our data and processes that we create here in the workflow pane, and it's typically saved with a dot y x MD extension. Edit lets us cut copy and paste data or a tool and undo and redo our last action view lets us hide or unhide different panes on our screen and search for a specific tool. However, I prefer to use the search bar here at the top right. Options allows us to run our workflow scheduled to run at specific intervals, export our workflow, manage licenses As well as additional configurations.
Finally, in help, there is additional information and examples on using ultrix. Just underneath we have our tool ribbon categorized into different tabs. And these contain the tools that we'll be dragging in to our workflow pane here at all refers to these different colored gadgets at the top of the screen. If we actually drag in a tool into our workflow pane, you will notice the configuration pane here on the left is updated with some options and configurations for that particular tool. Finally, at the bottom we have our preview or results pane which when we run our workflow outputs the execution status and results of our workflow.
