This class is an introduction to mindfulness and compassion. In this class, you will learn how to boost your happiness and wellbeing, find new sources of resilience, joy, and calm in your life and how to better cope with the stress and anxiety of modern day living. The class is designed around 8 stages or doors that allow you to train in your own time and at your own pace. Each door has a theme and includes a formal meditation practice and an informal mindful activity that is a way to extend that learning into your daily life.
Who is it for?
The class is for anyone dealing with the stress of any kind as well as though wishing to bring a greater sense of richness, fulfillment, and meaning to their lives. You will become more stress-resilient and less thrown by life's difficulties.
What will I learn?
What will I get with the course?
We can't always choose what happens to us or how others behave but we can learn to have more choice in how we respond to life's events
This class is suitable for beginners with no previous knowledge of mindfulness or meditation. The recommendation is that students take time to do mindfulness practices and meditations in a stepwise manner. And I would encourage giving the practices a go. It can be helpful to write a journal to keep a track of how you are progressing with your mindfulness practice
