Welcome to Episode 4.

Woohoo, you have passed the halfway mark. Thanks to the beauty of this fast track course, you’ve basically done your 5000 hours, another half to go and you’ve reached Maestro status.

In the last chapter, you learned about how to select a chairperson and a host, their selection criteria; and what their roles and responsibilities are. Now we are into the real good stuff, how to actually host a meeting. Many of us are terrified of public speaking and hosting a virtual meeting is pretty much just that. However having learned about chairperson duties, this episode builds onto that, giving you the confidence and capability to host a meeting like a seasoned pro.

You will learn about using the agenda as a reference point, how to make introductions, how to establish the rules of engagement, and managing the meeting requests. You may have heard these all before but that’s how important they are. So forgive me if you hear these several times, I want to make sure you remember these and actually use them.

In this episode you are going to go over the following topics:

  • Set an agenda
  • Allow time for Q&A
  • Make introductions
  • Rules of engagement
  • Meeting requests
  • Keep to the time

Ready to be the boss?
