Welcome back. I would like to conclude this class by sharing a story about involvement versus commitment. An old farmer was asked to join a local count Committee. The farmer asked them if they wanted him to be involved or committed. What is the difference? they asked?

The farmer answered. It's like a bacon and egg breakfast. The chicken is involved, but little piggy is committed. In order to run a successful and profitable ecommerce store, you have to be committed. As an e commerce veteran with hands on experience in the trenches. I understand the pain points and online business have to overcome in order to be successful.

I started hand coding HTML back in 1993. That shortly after when al gore actually invented the internet Well, that's joke of course about al gore not about me hand coding HTML. From coding I moved on to SEO from there when you played search and then ended up in online marketing, always looking for ways to make the cash register in my currently run for e commerce web stores. First one is kitchen hobby.com, then multi gems.com, free gardening, help.com and the legging shop.com. As I mentioned before, I practice what I preach and I eat what I kill. In future classes, I will do deep dives into specific topics like acquiring leads, improving conversions, list segmentation, and customer reactivation.

By expanding on the foundation that we laid in this introduction class, I will look at each of the 12 functional e commerce areas and cover them in great detail. I would love to get your feedback on which topics you would like to see covering. I envision some classes covering individual topics within a major area, search engine marketing for instance, this area has multiple facets and could be very, very complex. Email marketing, social media, automated marketing. All of these are easily standalone classes. I would love to get your feedback.

Thank you for trusting me and spending some time with me and I hope to see you in future classes. This is Eugene, signing off.
