Now it's time for a headshot your profile photo, okay? Unfortunately, I'm not there to take a great picture of you. I do want to encourage you if you do not have a professional photo, the cheapest way to get one if you can't afford one right now, is if you are able to, at home or at work if you're able to stand in front of a white wall, preferably with good lighting are close to natural sunlight. If it's coming through the window, grab a friend about hey, can you take a picture of me right now. So you want to make sure you have a nice shirt or blouse on you're standing straight up face to face and they can snapshot you do not do a selfie because you can tell by the angles, okay? But just a natural, straight face to face headshot.
And you can upload that to LinkedIn. So this is how you upload your profile photo. Make sure you're on your homepage of your actual profile. file for LinkedIn. Click on profile photo. Okay, I already have a photo but I'm going to change it.
So I'm going to go to change photo or upload photo. If it's your first time I have a photo right there, I'm going to select that photo, click on the picture based off of your computer or your phone, hit open. Now it does a great job centering the photo for you, but if you need to zoom straight in crop or filter orgeous you definitely have that option. I like my photo as is and then I'll click on Apply. It's gonna take a while for it to load or to save, I should say. Alright, so once it's saved, or once the pictures uploaded, is going to take you to your intro or your summary screen.
Okay. For now you can save that photo. And there now you have a new profile photo.
