Okay, so welcome back to natural Ace reversal using products in your kitchen. If you've googled me or seen some of my other work, I wrote a little recipe book on how to make makeup. This will save you a fortune but not only save you money, it will save your health. So if you've had cancer, fibromyalgia, anything that could result in low energy blood disorders. A lot of times women want to go out and feel good and so we put on a lot of makeup. And then you put a lot of toxins in your body that your body is actually trying to fight off as it's trying to heal you.
Okay, from from whatever ailment you have. So you're gonna love how easy it is to make makeup and then you're going to be mad because you're gonna see like, this is about five cents worth of ingredients that you might pay 40 bucks for In a store and yeah, I am serious. five senses generous. Alright? So we're gonna have a little lab class, I hope it works out, you know how you like, plan everything and then it's like, doesn't work right but it should work. I'll try to get a perfect color match, but that's what takes a little time.
It's just changing color. Okay. All right. So you've seen those talk shows with the cooking class and all that. So that's what we're doing. So if we're making makeup, so you want to start with a powder on you could use cornstarch you know back in the day your grandmother great grandmother, they would say, I'm going to powder my face or starch my face.
You can literally put flour on Now I'm not saying that's the best because flour clumps, but it does work. Okay, so um, yeah, that simple, but this is coconut powder. Many women put coconut oil on her face. So obviously Coconut Powder has a lot of those moisturizing things going on. But you can see it's grainy. So this is better for a cream makeup because the oil will break down these grains.
You can also put coconut powder in a coffee grinder not filling the coconut go ahead and use flour just to learn and play with makeup. But you'll see like I said it gets clumpy. cornstarch is smoother and finer. So use cornstarch instead of flour. And there are clays you can use for a different effect. Okay, depending what type of makeup you want, but again, they're all natural, and it's edible.
Now I'm not saying eat it, because you might not like it. But you can. It is not toxic at all. All right. So no matter what race you are, everybody has white and brown. Okay.
It just is a matter of how much so let me let me Get a little mixture thing here. So I'm gonna put I'm a black person so I want a little more brown. but not a lot. You'll be surprised watch. Okay, so go with a little more. All right, and this is Coco.
Okay? You can buy nice cocoa but this is like a generic brand of cocoa, Kroger brand cocoa. But why did I pick this? Read the ingredient. one ingredient cocoa. Okay, not cocoa and sugar, not cocoa and some kind of preservative cocoa.
So that's it. That's why I got this. So yeah, you want to keep the crap out of your makeup. Um, I also have more professional pigments. And when I really need to have more better makeup from going on camera or something I'll use the more Frou Frou stuff and I have a more powder that is a commercial powder for makeup but you don't don't even have to use it. And I don't want to show you that here because I don't want you to think you have to go buy all this stuff you never heard of.
But if you want better quality makeup, you can get my little book, I think it's seven bucks, it's or there are other recipes you might like as well. But when I have my making makeup class, I use my recipe book, and it's short, and that's on purpose because I don't want this to be overwhelming. Okay, so you have your white powder, got a little bit of brown. And so mix it. Now if this was a finer powder, you can actually just use the powder, just mix the different levels of white and brown until you get until you get the color you want. So can you see this is already close to my color, you see, and if I had chosen like a corn starch or or the more professional powder that I use, I could actually just powder my face just with this, okay, but I'm making a foundation so I need to add a few more ingredients.
But I do see how simple Do you see is it was that even like two cents worth of product, just a little of your finer white powder if you're just making powder, but this is enough, you know how you buy that powder in the round jar and it has that powder puff. And what do you pay, you know $15 at somewhere like Walgreens, you pay 30 $40 if you go to a department store and it is it could be two ingredients, you see that? So never buy all those toxins. The reason they have them is for shelf life and stabilizing the product and stuff like that. But when you're making your makeup, you're gonna just be using it. Okay, I like to use these little plastic containers or transfer it.
You can make it in glass. Here's a shot glass, because it's always better to have it in glass. But I just practice you know, to be practical. You didn't just put a lid on this and it will last for a few weeks. Okay, so This is makeup powder, but we're going to go a little further. Um, remember my black seed oil cup, I'm going to put a little bit of argan oil you know what, I'm just gonna put it right in here because instead of trying to mix it so just that's probably too much oil.
So that's how little ingredient you need. So as I put the oil I it is a little too much so you can see it's kind of too oily. Right? You know, not not so good. I'm gonna have to play with the color. Now.
Everybody has a red tone, a green tone or a yellow tone. I don't care What ethnicity you are you're one of those three two of those three or three of those three. That's the way God made us. I people argue with me I'm not green, but you've heard of all of tone people, is I'm not saying you're all the way green or all the way red all the way yellow but there's a tone in your skin. So my tone is a yellow tone. So I use tumeric now, there are pigments I have pigments and if you want a more you're like I'm not putting you know that's a spice I put my food I'm not putting that on my face.
If you don't want to you don't have to but you can use this is all natural, right? Not toxic. So I'm gonna make my makeup a little bit too much tar to make it because he kind of end up making a lot because it's just that's just how little bit of ingredients are in makeup. Right. Okay. So, um, two things I want to say.
We do like a lot of highlighter like you put the darker tones on your nose and your cheeks on your chin. If you want to do all that, then you want to have some dark makeup and light makeup. So you can separate this into two jars if you want to do that. I'm not going to do that right now. Okay, so you can see I put the yellow I put the brown, I'm going to make it into liquid makeup. What's the main ingredients and liquid makeup water.
I am very serious about that five cents that I told you about. Okay, so as I add water, it's gonna get lighter. And normally when I mix at home, I have different ways to mix it. So this is more More More water then because I had a lot of oil and more water. So now that's when you just play with it right. So I'm going to add more of this powder to thicken it This isn't the best or sometimes I use the popsicle sticks to stir it.
Okay? And it's not it's not as thick as I like I would like for it to be thicker. But you can see you can see it's really close to my face. I could put clay in here if I want a more dry kind of look, but I can you know, I can just you can play with it until you find the right texture. So I want more coconut powder or whatever white powder that I use and that's going to throw the color off so then I'm going to need more cocoa. So that's the hard part.
And I would say it's hard but that's, you know, getting the makeup to be the exact consistency that you like. That's where you spend time but you can see these are simple, simple ingredients right? So I'm going to put a little more coconut powder and then I need to darken it again. Put a little more cocoa. And if you have like one of those magic bullet blenders, you can use that except You'll have to make a lot and you might not want that much right. Okay, so by adding more, whoops, more chocolate and more powder.
The color is different, so I need to add more yellow. It might be hard to to really see it. Pour it out Excuse me. Can you have a liquid foundation? Put this on my face. Excuse me, right?
Okay, so you pour it. You have your, you have your liquid foundation. If you want it thicker you can add some bentonite clay. If you want it more moist, you can add more oil. It's a simple process. Now some of you might think I want it thicker.
I want it Rania. I want it to have this. You can tweak it you can put in different stuff. You can use a less grainy powder and you'll have a finer makeup If you want matte makeup and you don't want the liquid foundation you can, like I said put the clay in it and it'll be like that. You know you have that compact and it's like a cream makeup. The oil is what makes it creamy and then more of the clay makes it sort of solid semi solid.
Okay, but those are your basic ingredients. Okay, so this isn't exactly a color match because you know, I'm just showing you for show right here but it's pretty close. Okay, and that's it. And I could take the rest of this and maybe put more chocolate and and have like that highlighter color that I talked about.
