Okay, so in this video, I actually want to give you a comparison of a couple of the major landing page platform builders. Now currently, for me, my number one that I still really love, and it's always going to be my recommended and it's for one main reason. And that's the cost. Now, if you have a little bit of money to throw into building out these sales funnels, and you're looking for something that's going to have a little bit more of a done for you sort of setup, I would say clickfunnels is definitely a good contender for that. And there's a few reasons why, which I'll mention in this video. So let's first off just kind of go through some of the Click Funnels functionality and talk about what's there with that basic $100 a month and then I'll show you some of the other platforms that are out there.
So you basically have a cap on the number of funnels you can build. Of course, I'm not even going to dive into this 297 a month because that's kind of on another wavelength. Let's look at this basic, nice $7 a month you get 20 funnels hundred pages. So That's quite a bit of templates up to 20,000 visitors. So there is some limitations there. You know that it could be a downfall.
As you can see in that case study I did in the last video we had 5000 visitors on a single page. So that may be limiting to some people who are doing big launches and sending lots of traffic to their sales pages. You have unlimited contacts, you can do up to three custom domains. That's pretty good. But again, if you're doing a lot of funnels, that could be somewhat limiting to some of you. You have the A B split testing, the email integration, all the opt in funnel stuff, you've got some of their different features, they call it click pops or click opt in some advanced funnel stuff, sales funnels, your membership funnels, all that stuff.
This is a pretty cool and I would say something that a lot of the other landing page builders don't really have like a direct membership section or funnel piece really built into it. thrive does have some membership stuff, but it's very much more like landing pages versus actual membership site, sort of build outs Auto webinar funnels This is something that a lot of the other platforms don't really have. But again, from what I could see a lot of this stuff look like it was more for just adding generic templates that you could just put in like a Google or video replay. So it's nothing super fancy particularly. And again, they mentioned hangout funnels, you know, Google Hangouts order pages, you can create the upsell and down sell pages automatically sharing your funnels with other people. This is actually a cool feature.
So you could actually build out a funnel that was converting and then sell that or include it in some sort of pricing or download offer. I've seen people do that. And then of course, they have all these other features that really start to come in. Once you go to the $300 level. I would say if you're going to be doing this, you really you know are going to be stepping up to the plate and this is where some of the extra stuff like them giving you email capabilities built in, you know, and just having everything kind of be an all in one. They give you some affiliate stuff here and a whole affiliate affiliate plan you could set up with branding and all kinds of extras.
So let's talk about one of the other bigger contenders. One of my favorites. This is honestly still my number one recommended tool is the Thrive Themes content builder. And again, I will leave a link for both clickfunnels, you can check out that 14 day trial, and I will leave a link to go check out the Thrive Themes content builder underneath this video. But generally, what you want to do is I would take a look at both of these. This is a full on drag and drop editor.
And depending on where you're watching this course, I may have even got another course out there I have a free one on a platform called Udemy. You can go check out on how to you know basically it's a whole sort of case study like what I've done here with this clickfunnels course on going and using Thrive Themes. So that's another one you can take a look at. But again, everything is drag and drop editing with this one's really awesome tool, and everything's fully responsive, all the layouts. I particularly prefer the editor a whole lot more in thrive. themes than I do and click page, Click Funnels.
So in terms of some of the things that you might be able to do would be like building high converting sales pages, you could technically build funnels or one time offer pages, any of the stuff that you can do, you can ultimately do it with this. The only real disadvantages is that this is hosted on a WordPress site. It's a WordPress plugin. So they're hosting that traffic, you know, whereas clickfunnels is hosting the traffic for you. With thrive, you're basically doing everything on a WordPress site. You also don't get some of the conversion tracking, and the A B split testing like you do built right into Click Funnels.
But you know, really, I'd say they're both pretty big in terms of contenders. The biggest downside I would say to Click Funnels versus thrive content builder is that you can get set up on a single domain for $67. And it's forever free. So you get this 100% for life. You do not have to pay anything else and you're going to get that builder. So you could use pages you can install 500 landing page templates on that one domain.
If you wanted 500 landing pages, you could do that. And you you would basically be paying monthly and you're kind of bound Click Funnels if you start getting embedded in their system, whereas with this, you can start getting getting it moving. I will tell you in my business currently right now, we're basically me and my partner, Paul, we're using both systems. So Click Funnels is something where, you know, we kind of see it as an easy way to get things up and running and just have some of that funnel integration. But with thrive, we're actually building out a high end membership site right now using the thrive content builder. And that way if we ever decided maybe to move away from clickfunnels, we're not going to be stuck needing to continue to pay $100 a month or whatever the case or you know, lose all of our landing pages and content that we built out on our WordPress site.
So in my opinion, this is still my number one recommended builder and the reason for that is the price. But there are some reasons to go with clickfunnels. And that might be if you need that self hosted capability, you need the A B split testing Some of the easier ways to integrate funnels, maybe you like some of those templates a little bit better. Those are some good reasons. Now, the other thing you can take a look at is Thrive Themes has what they call a membership that you can get signed up and they're going to give you a whole bunch of extra stuff beyond the content builder. You're going to get what they call their Thrive Leads plugin, you also get a scarcity plug in called thrive ultimatum, which is really awesome.
You can do some really cool stuff with like countdown timers, and you could set up links in your email campaigns. If like someone clicks the link, they'll get that timer and then as soon as that timer ends, they'll get locked out of the page, you know, so that's exactly what you'd want to happen in a scarcity situation with a sales page so you get that plug in. You can do some other stuff with they have one called thrive headline optimizer so you can make really captivating headlines and they even have a testimonial plugin so you can add some really cool highly persuasive testimonials and social proof To your websites. So this is another really good contender, you know, if you are really kind of matching up to Click Funnels, take a look at the quarterly or even annual membership here you'd pay $25 a month, but paid quarterly with thrive membership.
So you're basically looking at a quarter of the price, and you're going to get a ton of, you know, implementation tools that you can use. Especially I really love the thrive ultimatum that's, that's a really awesome when I've been playing around with and I haven't even honestly played around with some of the others like the headline optimizer and some of the other cool stuff that they have built in, I believe you also get access to some of their themes. And that's an advantage as well. So I wanted to show you another comparison. One of the other major contenders is a platform called LeadPages. And they actually built a page called thrive landing pages versus a lead pages.
So I'll leave a link to this as well. If you want to take a look at this a little more in depth on your own, but basically lead pages Again is a self hosted platform just like clickfunnels is so you've got some sort of comparison here, you know, they kind of break down some things that you can do like adding in welcome gates, the affiliate program, you know, you don't get that with LeadPages standard for example, the A B split testing, you don't get that with either of these platforms. Where is that something that you do get with Click Funnels, drag and drop editor you get that with all three. you own your pages you know you don't own your pages with Click Funnels or lead pages. If you disable your lead pages or Click Funnels account, you lose everything with thrive, you own it forever.
No monthly fees again that that is the biggest thing for me with LeadPages you do have a monthly fee. Same with clickfunnels Facebook integration, no website required. You know some of these things you don't directly get with thrive. You can't sort the templates inside of Thrive based on conversion rate, you can do that and lead pages and then Click Funnels. And then you get some of these extra features lead links lead digits, these are some features, I think clickfunnels sort of calls these like the click opt in or the click pops. So those would be some sort of similar functionalities.
And basically, what it comes down to is if you look at the thrive membership versus the pro version of lead pages, where you do start to get some of the A B testing in such that you would, in comparison to clickfunnels, you start to really rise in cost like almost $600 a year, whereas thrive membership, you're paying 228 a year. So I would say ultimately make the decision, you know, look at all three of these. I have used all the builders and I'm currently still using thrive overall the most. But I still see some benefit in having either a Click Funnels or maybe a lead pages account. And that's due to some of the ease of use and just having a little bit more kind of just straight line shoot where you can get things set up and running really quickly. And a lot of the stuff is just built right in that AV testing.
That's something if you're really looking to do that then that might be a benefit to you. So you even get a break. Hear of like ease of use user support. You know, they're very honest about everything so they just kind of break it down and you can decide if you want to, you know, go get the thrive membership or simply just buy the actual thrive landing pages builder for one site that's 67 bucks. Again, I'll leave a link to all three. You could take a look, see what you want to do.
And thanks again for watching this and I hope this has helped you make a decision on what landing page builder you ultimately want to go with.
