I'm going to have a look at the series of images of Porter loading his cat. There's quite a few in the series. So let's go through and select them all, just to give us an idea. Press the N key, bring them all up on screen together. Far too many to choose from, and the few. So we'll come back app, and then unselect them Ctrl click on one of them, click on the shift click the fourth one along, priests, the inkay to have a locker for images to start comparing them.
Now looking for the different cropping, the different framing, and the action whatever is happening in here because there's a lot of movement, the man himself moving and then the people around kind of passed down. where he's learning as CAD. And of course, I'll have to look to see if each image is sharp enough that I choose. I'll have to be careful. But just looking at his face looking at the relationship of the people around and what's above there is a big blank empty space so that one's not good. This one I quite like to shout one.
It's a nice bit of actually with people coming down the side. As far as action as good ladies heads cut off, there's not so good. That one's still stronger eyes. I will keep this one I have a lot of shoppers and he's not quite sure. He wants to just move back and see the veggies in front of them. But let's keep that one selected and Control click Control click Control back and again and press the in key to bring up these five side by side and have a look at those to pare it down to which of them is the best which one is going to be a keeper.
I like to put an X in there it's good and hopefully he's sharp because it looks like he's moved for the this lady and he is quite nice I move the camera to the left to include here but the accent on the other side and the guy there is not so good. So let's get rid of that one. Having a bit closer lock this one's not so great. Either action is not good. For this one. He can't see his face.
He can't really see him doing anything. So get rid of it ones like this. I like the action on the right hand side been better. This one looks looks good. He's loading his vegetables. He can see what he's doing.
More clearly than you can and the other one, where he's got his packages the that he's going to lead on towards cat and zoom and they looks pretty good. So sharper than the other one. So please keep that one. So select that slick that one happy exclude and hide it and then go on to select the next series of five vertical images that fit nicely on the monitor. So looking here looking at what he's doing, looking at the people again, and just taking out the ones where it's not really working so well. quite like this one of them doing something to the front of his cat there.
So I can click that little x in the corner and that will hide it from this view or what hide it like hitting the X key Well, when we go back into GridView it'll still be there but it just allows me the interlock at least two images side by side, what's happening distracted by the one that I know I want to keep. And so looking at these ones zoomin is not really sharp. It's still loading But no, not sharp. We'll get rid of that. So looking at these two faces kind of hidden. I would have liked to have seen his face on that one, but we'll we'll take that one and then go back to these last ones here.
And there's a lot of empty space, unless there's no real central focus point is too far away. And honestly, they don't really work but I think they're strong enough storytelling and I just want to keep either of them. And not sharp either so exhibit one and or exhibit one as well selected for more just having a look to see what's gonna lose that one is definitely out of focus so let's go on straight away. That one is not good is not looking the right way Look at haikus This one is yeah the lady in the is quite nice she's cut off the just looking at the frame looking at how composed of the frames okay. In control click those last two and have a look at the three Have them together. But not so good as backs to the camera.
Not looking they're great. So we'll reject those. And then we have four images that I've managed to count from all of those ones that we had before. So let's have a closer look at these. I'll just hide there. One, it's not a great image, kind of like that one there.
This one's also quite nice, but not so good. But this is my favorite out of all of them and tells the story really nicely. You can see what he's doing. He can see the people and the hustle and bustle around them. And so that's my choice of image from the series, telling you work like this, and paring them down to just a few and each series one or two in each scene. will give you a good appreciation for your photographic skills and the gun images that you've made.
