Think you have a healthy diet? In this class, we will examine what's in the food we eat, whether we buy it from a grocery store, a fast-food place, or a fancy restaurant.
What will you learn in this course?
Learn about the risks of eating salmon and where 'Heart-Healthy' canola oil comes from.
Learn about food additives and why the food industry is fooling us every day.
Learn about artificial sweeteners and why we are so sick as a Nation.
Finally, learn how to discern good food choices and tell food manufacturers that you want REAL food on your plate.
Who should take this course?
Target audience: Anyone who eats, Specifically, eats any food imported from or produced in the USA.
Registered Respiratory Therapist with 40 years of experience. I love to make subjects easy. Whether I am teaching fellow RT's and RN's, or patients or new friends, my aim is to enrich another's life with empowerment afforded by knowledge.
After 40 years as a Respiratory Therapist, I decided to give back. Along the way, the food supply in the US was getting worse. Hospital food is already bad, now add 'lowest cost' as a factor. Yuck!
