And these body bodies can sabotage your efforts to tame your sugar Gremlin. In this lesson, we join your sugar Gremlin. In a Blues Club. When you're feeling especially miserable for a protracted period of time, that is you're depressed.
You tend to be running low on a neurotransmitter called serotonin. serotonin is a mood dude. serotonin is not actually a hormone, but a neurotransmitter. And it turns out serotonin quite likes to bang the hunger neuron on the head, this playful banter keeps the hunger near on ducking and diving to avoid a serious headache. So when serotonin is around Well, the hunger neuron can be a little slow to react. This helps keep your appetite in check.
But when you are depressed, serotonin is missing in action. And for some people, this makes them vulnerable to mention because the hunger neuron is not distracted. A situation your sugar Gremlin is happy to explain. Once again, if you will sugar Gremlin is taking advantage of the absence of serotonin. You may need to work on getting your mojo back. Finding your mojo may just require a little meditation or a pep talk.
