Sherry was scheduled to give a major presentation to her managers the next week. She had always had a fear of public speaking, the first thing she did was call her mom. Her mother encouraged her, but after she hung up, she still felt uneasy. She decided to take a 15 minute walk every day before going to the office to clear her mind. That way she would be ready to work and feel more focused on the assignment. She prepared for the presentation and practice some of the key points in front of her husband at home.
Finally, the night before the presentation, Sherry made sure to go to bed early and not let anything distract her from sleep. When she arrived at the office the next morning to give her presentation, Sherry felt refreshed and prepared to speak in front of her managers.
