Now let's talk about PowerPivot. So what I did right now was jump over to the data section of Power Pivot so that you can see what's loaded right now into our model. Okay, so Power Pivot is a data modeling engine. And you could either create new measures in here calculated measures and columns, right? see over here. And then you could also build relationships through the different entities that you have.
So for example, we have sales and salesperson, right? If we jump over to relationships, you can actually see on how our data model is looking at the moment, which means they have a relationship between this table, right and this table. Okay, so PowerPivot also uses the data analysis expression language, or as we call s dx dx, for building measures and calculated columns. And it's actually this DAX is actually a powerful functional language. And there heaps of functions for that in the library.
