Understand the impact of stress on our lives and health and how it is a barrier.

Stress is a very overlooked issue in society, especially in a society where it is praised to hustle. It is seen as a good thing to always be under the pump and "getting things done". We, as a society, have seen this as a success. We have put a positive light on stress and being stressed out as that means we are becoming successful.

A confronting question to ask yourself is, "What is good about all this success if I'm not going to be here long enough to enjoy it?"
What we need to know is the negative effects constantly high stress can do to us. We need to understand that society has put a positive image on something that can be very harsh on us. It is important for us to be informed about what this mentality is having on us. It is okay to work hard, but we also need to be cautious about what it is actually doing to us.
