Okay, welcome back to Twitter tycoon. In this video, I want to talk to you about a really great resource that can help you monetize and automate your Twitter account. And this is Hootsuite. Okay, so what you're going to do is set up Hootsuite. Basically what it's going to allow you to do is manage multiple Twitter accounts. Okay, so once you've gotten these techniques down, you can open up several Twitter accounts and use Hootsuite to manage it.

You're going to create an account and connect your Twitter account to it. And then you can easily manage everything right from Hootsuite. So when you set up your Hootsuite account, you're going to add 11 columns. Okay, column one is your sent tweets. Okay, this will help you know what you said. column two will be your mentions.

And this will be to help you respond efficiently. column three is your influencers list. Okay, this is the get on their radar column for your scheduled tweets to keep tabs on what you've scheduled. Okay, call number five my tweets and retweets and they call them number six through 11. His search filters to monitor results in real time. Okay, so let's talk about your column number three the influencers list.

I'll talk to you about how to set that up really quickly. So what you're going to do is click on Add stream. Okay, then step two from the pop up menu, select lists, then select your profile from the drop down menu. In Step four, you're going to select the Create a new list button and then name the list influencers Okay, so this is pretty much how you add a column here, as well as how to add specifically for this influencers list. Very important. And then in Step six, you're going to add a description.

Okay, this is optional, but you know, I like to do it I like to stay organized. And then step seven is click the Add stream button. Once the stream is added, click the triangle on the top of the column. And then from the drop down, select Preferences, and then type in their username and click Add. So now you can add your influencers to this column. Very important that you do this.

Then you're also going to load up your tweets. Okay, here you can schedule ahead of time using Hootsuite publisher. Okay? It's better scheduling with a paid plan. It lets you schedule up to 350 tweets at once and they have different tiers that you could check out. But Hootsuite is great for managing all your Twitter accounts.

So what you're going to do is you're going to prepare a CSV file of tweets. This needs two columns, a date and timestamp and the message you want to tweet. Now there are detailed instructions for Excel, Google Docs, and text edit, have included the links in your workbook, so you can check those out. And then you're going to schedule 10 to 15 tweets per day between 11am and 1am. St. Okay, so Eastern Standard Time, remember that's 48% of your followers, and then scheduled tweets between 5pm and 11pm.

And then Twitter prime time obviously is from seven Twitter prime time is from 7pm to 3am. So late tweets will be seen first thing in the morning. Keep that in mind. Next, click on the publisher on the left looks like a little paper airplane, and then select schedule and bolt. Then you can choose and load the CSV file you created earlier and select the number of messages to post. Very simple gets all of this done for you in advance.

So you don't have to constantly spend all day tweeting and managing multiple accounts. So definitely check out Hootsuite. They've got some great tutorials on their site as well that will help you you know, figure out exactly how to use this. These are just the things we found that are most important to us in Hootsuite.
