Some additional equipment, we get our shopping list earlier. But the other things we need to think about is a backdrop tripod and additional camera batteries. I've put 30 pounds down in the budget here, you might have if you full frame your batteries might be a little bit more expensive. Some SD cards again, if you're on a crop camera, it's going to be SD. If you're using a full frame, it's going to be a little bit more but you want a few cards because you might have a couple of client jobs and you want one card. And you might put that to one side and not processing.
You don't want to be deleting any images from a card until you finished edited them and sent them to the client or at least stored them on somewhere like Google Drive. And you finished you've edited and you know you're happy and you've got your edited images, then reuse the cart. I strongly recommend that system because what happens you'll do shoot and you're just think you've copied it over and delete it. Crowd continuously costs a little bit some RP some hooks for put some on the wall might be a bit pain, different bits and bobs 80 pounds or $80 equivalent. And what you've got is a studio setup not counting the camera, a studio set up for about 1000 pounds or $1,000. That's what I pay for two of my Elon chrome studio strobes without modifiers without anything else.
So just to keep it in perspective, this is a low budget setup. You know, you can go even cheaper than this if you're willing to go with manual flashes. You can pick them up for like 25 pounds each problem is the manual. So you can have all sorts of issues with triggering and get into them if you need to adjust them which is why I'm recommend you invest in the flashes I showed you at the beginning. Now some of the people express concern because these young flashes, Chinese the third party and oftentimes they're shipped from abroad try and find someone local who's selling them Pay the little bit extra, don't try and avoid the import tax because if it goes wrong with them, you can just turn return them to a seller. So that's a handy little tip for you to remember as well.
So here we've got a simple backdrop. This one was about 35 pounds on Amazon. I found this quite easily and quickly. Obviously, it's not a full length, backdrop, but what you've got here is you got you want your black and you've got your green screen. Now green screens can be very interesting. Because what that means is if you shoot on a green screen background, and I have one set up in my studio, and you're seeing use that right now, if you have a green screen background, you can take a picture and then just change the background if you want to do some artistic stuff with some composite.
It's not a bad thing to have and to learn how to use and then we've got our tripod and this is a little video tripod that I've used in the eyes rightly so much I've got two of those now I've got a much more expensive studio tripod but I never get it out. It's so heavy and clumsy. I just use these I take He's everywhere. And I've got a pistol grip head which I've took off and change but you don't need one of those. I just like those. The head that comes on this is going to get you started.
Remember we can upgrade later wired video tripod, them leg braces. That's why I say these tripods, they're just a little bit more sturdy than your standard. So when you go budget by video, tripods, I really like this one. Here's your card, little port important tip, try and get 32 gig you want as much space as you can put two gigs, attempt panax come down massively, and get a class 10 that's the speed. So when you're in the studio, not so important because you're going to wait for your flashes to refine, you're not going to get to teach. But if you're out and about and maybe you do some wedding work or some event work, the faster the speed, the faster your camera will transfer the images just taken to that card and if your card is faster if it slows you down, it could slow down the transfer rate and also your camera.
So we don't want to do that we want it to transfer over nice and quick. And what that does mean is when you go into a high speed burst, so you might be a wedding and the bride and groom's walking down the island and you want to hit it, put it in high speed but teach this cat this card will keep up with that up to a certain point in a slowdown. If you've got a slow card it will go and that's where you'll miss it and that's why we use these carts class 10s same on a CF cart. Go class 10 every time
