Okay, the next part I'm going to show you, it's similar to the straight, except it kind of comes in an angle and those are used to hit the targets on the side, the straight up palm will hit targets straight down the body. Okay, anything, you know, knows eye sockets, you know, chin, you know, heart solar plexus, at lower abdomen area, that type of thing. You're going to strike those areas straight on the hooking palm coming in on an angle, or the side, temple side of the jaw, eardrums side of the ribs. Okay? show you how to do that same striking areas before so you got to you're gonna either gonna do the open hand like this, it's almost like a slap but it's an iron palm slap, you know? Hit solid bang like that.
Okay, fingers are kind of held loose until just before contact and then you kind of open up, open up to the iron palm strike. That's one and the other one is kind of with the heel palm, focus right in there. And that one can kind of be made beforehand and it's going to come right in for the for the hooking. So same thing, I'll get a little hip turn, and it kind of hooks in. That looks like it's coming in from the side. And then this is the lead hand, same deal comes in from the side, the other one was straight on.
We're going to come to the side like this. Now, side side can be straight, this or this. Okay, target areas, again, anything along the side of the face and head, anything along the side of the body. Okay, that's kind of like the side hook Paul.
