Welcome to my course the right mindset for sustainable weight loss. I love the quote from Bruce Lee. Knowing is not enough we must apply willing is not enough. We must do this course all about how to apply to our lives the things that we know we should be doing for health and weight and ever wondered why most people can't lose weight in eastern Minnesota lose weight, they can't keep it off. According to statistics 95% of the people who lose weight regain the weight back. How can it be?
How can we still be losing the weight loss battle despite the fact that we have more than doubled the amount of money we spent a weightless product and services in the past 25 years to be exact in 1992. The year guide to the weightless field we spent $30 billion dollars that year with a product and services and the obesity rate was 4.6%. And they were spending over $65 billion per year on wellness products and services. And the obesity rates tripled over 37%. At this rate by the year 2030 50% of the US population will be obese. The question is why aren't we spending so much money on weightless product and services, and we have nothing to show for it is something wrong with the people.
Two people simply don't have the priorities straight and they're lazy, like many fitness professionals will lead. By the way I used to be one of those fitness professionals. When I first guns of the weightless field. I used to blame the people for their inability to stick to their diet or exercise program. But once I came across the statistic, the next action that people end up digging the way back I realized it can't just be the people. Obviously there's something wrong or seriously wrong with the way we approached weight loss and fitness.
Realizing that it really opened my mind. You might 25 years plus in the fitness industry, I have identified many reasons why people end up gaining the weight back, and why we're losing the weight loss battle. Thank you asked me what is the biggest reason, I will tell you the fact that most weight loss programs try to change people's behaviors without first changing people's habitual thoughts. The way we think, affect in many ways the way we behave and the way we feel. In other words, the actions we take or don't take, the way we eat, the foods we eat, and the emotions we feel directly or indirectly are affected. By the way we think.
If you change the way you behave without changing the way you habitually think you will always return back to your old habits. It's absolutely essential that you change the way you think if you want to change the way you behave permanently. Keep in mind, most of our thoughts. We have our subconscious so you might not even be aware that you're having them Basically this thing that means you run an autopilot. If you do like in this nation you autopilot is taking you, you have two choices, you can take manual control your day. In other words, be more conscious of everything you do during the day and try to do all the right things that will get you to the destination you want or simply change the program.
The run your pile up surprises might show you or a pilot can take the destination without having to exert too much conscious effort. Think about it this way. Let's say you're the pilot of a Boeing 777 and you supposed to fly to Fiji. As soon as you took off, you realize that the previous pilot has set the auto pilot to fly to Antarctica. What would you do? Would you simply grab the yoke and fly the plane manually to Fiji while the hallway there fighting the autopilot the want to take you to Antarctica?
Or would you take the time to reprogram your pilot to fly to Fiji? Obviously you do that. Yes, it might take you a little while to reprogram the autopilot. But once you do very little effort will be required to fly the plane compared to taking manual control and firing the autopilot. So if you are a shape is because somehow your subconscious mind your autopilot has been programmed to run behaviors that are meant for your health and weight. Yes, you could just force yourself to conscious effort to engage in healthy behaviors and stop engaging in the unhealthy behaviors that get you out of shape.
But you will be fighting autopilot the whole time which creates a lot of stress and almost always leads to burn out when it makes sense to reprogram your subconscious mind. So it works with you instead of against you, yes, it will take a little extra time to reprogram new healthy behaviors and shortcuts nine out once you do, you will not just lose the way that you want, you will have a very easy time losing the weight because you will not find the old pilot. And you will also have a very easy time maintaining the weight after you lose it. Unfortunately, most weight loss programs go with the first choice. They have you take conscious control of your day, and have you keep track of everything you do. Thinking that once you see results, you'll be motivated to keep going.
You see there's a major problem with that approach. And let me explain why almost it never works. Because mine has very limited processing power and can only do one thing at a time. On the other hand, you might have almost unlimited processing power, and you can do thousands of things all at once, but heavy circuits might run most of your day. It frees up your conscious mind with limited powers. power to focus on the first two regions around the world.
That is how to stay in great shape. In Greece in the region, I was raised people live long, healthy lives. thing was the North. Nobody was concerned about the weight or health and yet most people had no problem maintaining the good health and healthy weight. The reason the able to do that was because of the healthy behaviors they engaged in and kept them in shape or habitual behaviors. In other words, we think eat healthy diet because we want to be healthy.
We ate a healthy diet because that was the way we were we took a long walks on a regular basis. We didn't do that because we maintain our weight. We took those walks because that was a habitual behavior. So basically, if you look unhealthy regions around the world, all the things They kept them in shape who had visual behaviors. In other words, no conscious thought was required to engage in those behaviors, which meant that people's conscious mind was free to focus on other things like enjoy life. Think about it.
If you were eating a meal and your focus was on how many vegetables the meal included, or how many calories was the meal, guess what your mind was not doing was not focusing, simply enjoy the meal. Like I mentioned before, if you look at most of the methods of weight loss, you will find that most of them rely on and conscious and the cuts might be gay to engage in all the healthy behaviors that will help you lose weight and get in shape. Hoping that once you see results, you'll be motivated to keep going. Having unconscious mind has been preoccupied with your diet and exercising, it misses out on life and all the fun stuff. This almost always leads to burnout for most people regardless how great the results are. The fact is the test results in Words that keep most people motivated if the results were achieved through a method that is overwhelming.
Rely on the conscious mind to do all the work and get in shape is simply overwhelming for the vast majority of people. Can you now see why most people end up quitting the weight loss efforts and end up beginning the way back. The best way to achieve sustainable weight loss in great health is to train your subconscious mind to take over all the healthy behaviors necessary for the achievement of a clean and healthy mind. You want all the healthy behaviors to become habitual behaviors, so little or no conscious thoughts required to gain this will free up your conscious mind to still enjoy life as you're getting in shape. To make it behavior habitual, and to eliminate all unhealthy behaviors, you need to approach weight loss very differently which we requires a change in your mindset. This course, He will teach you how you need to think if you want to make permanent changes in your habitual behaviors, so you can achieve sustainable and healthy weight loss and still enjoy life.
I truly believe that everyone should take this course before starting any weight loss program. It serves the same purpose as a foundation to build it. No matter how strong the building is, it's only as strong as the foundation is sitting up. If the foundation is weak, no matter how strong you make a building, it's only a matter of time before the building collapses. The same thing goes with weight loss. You can find the best weight loss or diet program in the world.
But if you don't have the right mindset to help you follow it, stick with your advice and also overcoming obstacles that get in your way of applying your advice in life. It's only a matter of time before you burn out and give up on your weight loss efforts and gain the weight back.
