In this lecture, we're going to continue working with page content while focusing on inserting pictures. When you're inserting pictures, you're going to go to the Insert tab, the images group. And from here you have three options available screen clipping, which allows you to take a screenshot that you've copied to the clipboard and paste it within your page pictures, which allows you to take pictures that you have stored locally on your machine or in OneDrive, and paste them in or online pictures and those are pictures that you grabbed from the web. For our example, we're going to do pictures from our computer, so we're going to click pictures. You'll then navigate to where you have your pictures stored. Once you find it, click on it and click the Insert button.
The picture has been inserted into your page. Clicking within the picture will give you your selection handles on the side of it which allows you to drag the picture to resize it. You do Right click within the picture, you get options as well. We can rotate the picture. If you had multiple pictures, you could print the order of them. We can restore to its original size.
We can add ultimate text to it, give it a title, do another right click, we have the option to set the picture as the background. And what this does is it allows you to type over top of the picture. So if you had something that you wanted to place in the background of your page, but you still wanted to continue to type within the page, you would set it to the background. So now we could go ahead and type over the picture. That's how you would insert a picture into your page. Remember, anytime you want to insert a picture, you go to the Insert tab, the images group and you choose the type of picture you want to insert.
Once you've inserted it, you can do a right click In the picture to select your options. In our next lecture we're going to focus on attaching files.
