Stage turds. Let me tell you a little bit about stage turds. And when we're unwrapping microphone cables, the method is you break the piece of PVC tape and you take this piece of tape and you stick it to your shirt. As you can see I've done several already before you run the cable out. This is not only polite, but it's actually a fairly major health and safety issue. You see where I throw these pieces of tape onto the stage without any concern as to where they finish up course what happens is they get stuck to the sole of my foot that is a stage turd.
Now, this one's fairly obvious, but if you get to probably have gotten out there you guys a good example of one right there stuck to the soul of my sport. Now I learned about this digested the hard way in the academy in Newcastle, and the the truck has to park outside the gig on a fairly steep incline which means that the loading ramp is very steep. And some years ago I was pushing a heavy microphone stance case out of the venue. It was of course raining as it usually does in New Castle. And I got up to pushing speed a considerable amount of momentum, pushing the case up the ramp into the truck. As soon as my foot hit the bottom of the ramp because of the tape on the sole of my foot, my foot slipped out from under me.
I felt forwards onto the microphones case and bright me knows Clara everywhere. All I've made sure all over the microphone stands box and I was wet and very unhappy. So please do us all a favor. That short bits of tape on the stage, sticking to your shirt, put them in your pocket, put them in the bin and you'll be doing the sort of favor. Thanks for Very much
