In this lesson, we're gonna go over kick, push. Here's the first run. You're gonna start. Actually, the beginning of this song has strings in it, the intro, but we're going to go right into the horn section and the leading part into the chords is this right here. Okay. So you're gonna hit a, b, c, d into the first chord.
Which is the F major seven. This is my right hand F, A, C and E. My left hand is doing f. So, with the run again, each note has its own finger so I'm using my thumb is a index finger on the B, middle finger on the C, and my ring finger on the D. Pinky on the E. And just yet Left hand, whatever finger you choose for your left hand don't matter to me. Do whatever feels good to you. Okay, next chord. Okay. So notice I hit a note right before that next chord which was D. So you start with D into the B flat 913 chord, which is in my left hand is a B flat in my right hand, a flat, C, D and G. So D and then the court everything else So, let's go put those two together D chord and the next chord is this real jazzy sounding chord in my left hand I have a right hand.
F sharp, B, C, and E. Okay, so let's put all three together. I think there's a leading note that goes into that last board. Okay, so that F before that last chord, so f and then if you notice, at the beginning of this video I did this. So what that is, is F sharp, B, E, and the same exact thing an octave higher. So I'm hitting this with my left hand. For me, I'm hitting Pinky, index finger and thumb.
My right hand. thumb, index finger, Pinky. The night the bass chord. Okay. Here's a hint. This chord right here is the same as when I hit this chord.
The only difference is I'm adding a C. C when you do the run up, you don't add to C in there. So I'm just going it makes it easy. Does it make sense? So let's do all together. We start slow. Okay, now, I want you to practice with me with a metronome.
It's always good to practice with a metronome. So let's do that. Here we go. 123 And when you get better, just speed it up and practice and you'll get better
